Audience Q&A

Your audience submits and upvotes questions live, from the audience-viewer link — no account needed.

Submitting a question

Anyone with the audience-viewer link (/watch/…) can type a question (up to 500 characters) and submit it. Q&A only opens once a speaker's timer has actually started — if no one's live yet, submitting shows “Q&A opens once a speaker begins.”

To keep things fair, each device can submit up to 3 questions per minute. Going over that shows “You're submitting questions too quickly — try again in a moment.”

Upvoting

Questions are sorted by vote count, so the most-wanted questions rise to the top before time runs out. Each device can vote for a given question once — voting again shows “You've already voted for this question,” even if the person clears their browser data (the limit is enforced by the server, not just remembered locally). Votes are also capped at 30 per minute per device.

Moderating as the host

From the host view, under Q&A for the current speaker, you can:

  • Mark covered / Uncover — flags a question as answered, for your own tracking. Doesn't remove it from anyone's view.
  • Hide — removes a question from the audience and speaker views immediately. This can't be undone from the interface (you'll be asked to confirm).

Good to know

Hiding a question removes it from the live views, but it's still counted in your final event summary — question and vote totals reflect everything submitted during the event, not just what stayed visible. See Event summary & reports.
